Senior Swiss Solvency Test (SST) Reporting Analyst (Hybrid)

This role offers deep exposure to the Swiss Solvency Test (SST), the most important regulatory reporting and solvency framework for Swiss Re, and the chance to collaborate across multiple functions.
About the role
Your Responsibilities:
· Contribute to the preparation and calculation of Swiss Re’s available capital and its expected change under SST for Swiss-domiciled legal entities and the Group.
· Support the production of the annual SST report submitted to FINMA, as well as the Financial Condition Report reported externally.
· Collaborate closely with teams across Finance, Asset Management, Treasury, Finance IT, and Risk Management.
· Lead financial analysis of key drivers, with a particular focus on the investment side of the balance sheet.
· Oversee the reconciliation of IFRS and SST balance sheets, especially for investment-related components.
· Identify and implement opportunities to standardize and automate reporting processes.
· Perform consistency checks and ensure completeness of controls.
About the Team
You’ll be part of the Financial Assumptions & SST Reporting team within Group Finance, comprising around 15 professionals based in Bratislava and Zurich. Our team values openness, collaboration, and diversity, and we are committed to delivering high-quality financial
information. In addition to regular reporting, we support SST policy work, transaction reviews, deliver internal training, and contribute to strategic projects.
About You
· A university degree in Economics, Corporate Finance, or a related field.
· Experience in Finance, Asset Management, or a similar area—ideally within the (re)insurance industry.
· Familiarity with valuation principles for investments
· Strong analytical skills and a holistic financial mindset.
· High numerical aptitude, integrity, and adaptability.
· Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under time pressure.
· Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; programming skills (e.g., Python) are a plus.
· A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and an open mindset.

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,100 and EUR 3,400 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
