This role focuses on repairing, maintaining, and installing Cytomat products, Laboratory Automation (LAI) products, and selected third-party equipment at customer sites across Denmark and Europe. A key aspect is fostering customer relationships to generate sales through Customer Support Services and Service Contracts.
A day in the Life :
1. Schedule and perform on-site maintenance, repair, and installation of Cytomat products and LAI system components.
2. Conduct on-site training on system service, maintenance, and operation.
3. Manage local spare parts inventory.
4. Complete and submit all documentation related to support activities, including maintenance reports, work orders, and quotes.
5. Diagnose issues remotely via phone or software, follow up with on-site work or third-party service providers as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction.
6. Supervise the status of contracts, warranties, and time-and-material customers.
Keys to Success
Education : Technology diploma in Mechatronics, Electro-mechanical, Electrical, Mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
Experience :
* At least 5 years of practical experience in field service or troubleshooting lab equipment and software.
* Validated experience with automation, robotics, or device instrumentation.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
* Diagnostic skills at system level using inquiries, observations, schematics, documentation, and software tools.
* Strong multidisciplinary technical skills in software, electrical, and mechanical systems.
* Proficiency with computers, serial communications, network diagnostics, and basic programming understanding.
* Knowledge of wiring, pneumatics, schematics, PLCs, power panels, and mechanical systems (CAD drawings, fasteners).
* Familiarity with Momentum software is a plus.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills; professional proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
