Job Purpose: As a team lead, you will design outstanding digital experiences and build an environment where talented designers thrive. You will drive creativity, mentor a diverse team, and represent DEPT® in pitches, workshops, and client meetings.
What you’ll do
Drive creativity and deliver excellence as a lead designer for key accounts, setting the standard for design quality and ensuring projects are visually appealing, strategically sound, on time, and within budget.
Manage and mentor a team of visual designers (Junior to Senior), conducting regular 1‑on‑1s and fostering growth and experimentation.
Lead the design portion of pitches to secure new business in Switzerland, the DACH region, and EMEA, presenting bold concepts with confidence.
Collaborate closely with the head of the design department and other leaders to improve capabilities and processes.
What you bring
Proven track record with a portfolio showcasing sophisticated experience design and a deep understanding of digital platforms.
Leadership skills and experience leading a team, with a focus on constructive feedback and growth.
Expertise in building and maintaining scalable Design Systems that bridge aesthetics and functionality.
Strong commitment to digital accessibility (WCAG), integrating usability with design.
Collaborative spirit, able to work with UX designers, copywriters, and developers.
Proficiency in Figma; experience with motion design and prototyping tools such as Framer or Jitter is a plus.
Curiosity about digital trends, AI, new technologies, and design innovations.
Fluency in Swiss German and English; ability to communicate complex design concepts to clients and engineers.
Optional: Experience in Brand Design, an advantage for creating cohesive experiences.
