Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, test, and maintain software for UAV systems.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets operational requirements.
3. Perform software integration and troubleshoot issues.
4. Document software specifications and maintain detailed records of development processes.
5. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the software engineering team.
6. Technical responsibility for subsystems on the helicopter as well as internal and external contact person for technical clarifications.
7. Cooperation for the maintenance of the airworthiness of aircraft
8. Responsibility as a subsystem specialist for the assessment of safety-relevant faults and incidents as well as for the preparation of construction deviations.
9. Leading cross-departmental teams to analyze complex errors and disruptions.
10. Technical and commercial management of helicopter projects from feasibility studies through contract conclusion to successful implementation.
Qualifications:
11. Higher technical education (University of Applied Sciences degree) in aviation, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
12. Experience in the aviation industry is highly desired.
