We are seeking a Senior Consultant to support our US-Focused Markets Group (US-FMG). This role involves working across various industries, developing expertise in US GAAP, SOX 404, and US capital markets FAAS projects. The focus is on client-centered solutions, asking insightful questions, and providing tailored support where off-the-shelf solutions are unavailable.Your Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with EY FAAS leadership in Switzerland to develop and implement strategies for client satisfaction.Work with other service lines and experts to deliver integrated services across functions in an international team.Support and deliver US GAAP / US capital markets FAAS projects, contributing to the growth of the US-FMG.Provide SOX 404 advisory services related to transactions and ongoing compliance topics.Participate in projects implementing ESG disclosure requirements, including process and controls.Understand client needs to develop clear, accurate, and client-focused deliverables.Coach colleagues locally and offshore, demonstrating initiative and responsibility.Ensure timely delivery of work in compliance with regulatory standards.Identify and develop new opportunities for FAAS projects and solutions.Understand client needs from transactions to SOX compliance.Skills and Attributes for SuccessQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance; additional professional certifications such as US CPA (preferred), Swiss CPA, ACCA, CFA are advantageous.2-5 years of experience in audit or consulting, focusing on US GAAP, PCAOB, SOX, SEC, and US capital market transactions.Advisory experience with capital markets transactions (IPOs, debt listings, carve-outs) is highly valued.Experience with SOX 404 processes and controls is highly desirable.Knowledge of IFRS is a plus for GAAP conversion projects.Proven ability to manage high-performing teams, including offshore resources.Strong risk management and technical writing skills.Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a willingness to go the extra mile.Ability to build and maintain networks in a fast-paced, international environment.Excellent English skills (spoken and written); German and French are a plus.We are dedicated to building a better working world and supporting sustainable growth across over 150 countries.
