Responsibilities
* Work with the existing client base and lead flow to generate new business
* Prospecting for clients through networking and referrals
* Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
* Providing financial solutions for clients through fact-gathering and needs analysis
* Expanding personal knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and joint work with fellow associates
* Collect each client’s financial information to determine financial status, financial goals, cash flow, and financial expectations
* Customize financial plans for each client based on potential life changes and changing financial needs
* Execute exceptional customer service to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given
* Seek, identify, and approach new prospects continuously and establish strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor
* Develop and provide financial advice and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives
Qualifications
* Must be Series 7/6, Series 63/66 licensed and 215 licensed
* Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus
* BA, BS, and/or graduate degree or equivalent work experience required
* CPA license, or CFP (Certified Financial Planner license from Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards) and FINRA Series 7 and 66, are required
* Relevant knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, best practices, and tax regulations is vital
* Computer proficiency including MS Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software is vital
* Proven success as a financial planner, personal financial advisor, financial analyst, or financial consultant is essential
* Superior customer service skills, math skills, relationship skills, and communication skills are preferred
Compensation
$80,000 - $110,000+
