Position Summary The Brand Manager, Rare Diseases – Europe is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies that support product launch and commercialization activities as well as Country specific marketing campaigns and projects in selected markets.
This role will work cross-functionally with commercial, medical affairs, legal and compliance, regulatory and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and compliant communication across the European region and in the assigned countries.
This is an ideal role for a dynamic, hands-on marketer comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-lean biotech environment.
Key Responsibilities Focus on regional marketing activities: Work under the direction of the Regional Head of Commercial Operations to leverage globally developed tools, identify gaps and provide support for locally developed materials.
Generate insights and feed them back to the local, regional and global leadership In alignment with the global and regional strategy, develop country brand plans.
Work closely with the US marketing team on assigned tasks.
Focus on country marketing activities: Lead campaigns and projects with national impact Ensure the commercial team is equipped with all necessary materials to drive high quality execution of product and disease related programs Establish strong relationships and strategic buy-in with respective field commercial stakeholders and all the supporting functions in order to drive excellent implementation Manage country marketing budget in collaboration with respective country and regional stakeholders Focus on distributors market: Provide Marketing support to the Distributor Markets in implementing the Regional campaigns and materials, in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders Additional key responsibilities: Plan and execute presence at European-wide industry conferences and support ad hoc country congresses Gather market insights through assigned Market Research projects and utilize them to develop materials and projects which corresponds to Regional and country needs Track performance metrics, adoption and ROI for marketing initiatives Identify unmet customer needs and emerging trends to inform strategy Monitor the competitive landscape, based on business requirements In all activities collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Commercial, Market Access, Legal and Compliance to ensure close alignment with the regional and global guidelines Conduct all activities in compliance with company policies and standards, and within appropriate country regulations and compliance guidelines Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, life sciences, business, or related field.
Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or similar) a plus.
1. 5+ years of marketing experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
Experience in Rare Diseases and/or Highly Innovative Therapies will be an asset.
Experience working in European healthcare markets and navigating EU promotional guidelines.
Mother tongue German or Spanish required with country marketing experience Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic and tactical marketing plans.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Comfort working in a small dynamic bio-tech environment.
