Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Maintenance and work with mammalian cell culture.
- Interact with core facilities for processing of experimental samples.
- Work closely with the scientists, research assistants, and students in coordinating research plans.
- Laboratory culture media/supplements/consumables stock management.
- Managing stock location.
- Managing usable duration.
- Communicating with other scientists to update the stock in the digital database.
- Replenishing stock.
- Processing of laboratory deliveries, receipt, storage, and notifications.
- Generation of cell culture media.
- Stock ingredients (chemicals/growth factors) preparations.
- Media preparation.
- Maintaining workplace standards.
- Assisting in major laboratory activities.
- Follow the laboratory Standard Operational Procedure (SOP).
What will make you successful:
- Apprenticeships graduate / Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in biology/biotechnology/bio-engineering
- Minimum of 3-years of experience in Life Sciences / Biomedical
- Experience in "mammalian cell culture" is essential
- Experience in a laboratory environment is essential (cellular and molecular biology)
- Experience working in a sterile condition
- Experience working with bioreactors is a plus (but not required).
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, team-working mindset
- Proficient in English, French is a plus
