Mobility is the goal
Join our R&D Smart Controls department and play a key role in defining and driving the evolution of ourelevator controller platform.
As a Telecommunication Electronics Architect you'll define, maintain the requirements, design and implement the devices’ infrastructure for telecommunication electronics applied to elevator control systems, ensuring alignment with system requirements and full compliance with industry standards.
Your exciting challanges include:
1. Analyzing system requirements and deriving component-level solutions with a focus on telecommunication hardware, both networking and radiofrequency, by ensuring compliance with industry standards and relevant codes and maintaining product structure.
2. Defining, documenting, and maintaining the telecommunication electronics hardware architecture of elevator control systems, including master schematics.
3. Aligning with cross-functional teams (Architects, System and Software Engineers) on HW-SW functionality and collaborating with production, field support, installation, and maintenance experts to ensure high-quality, fit-for-purpose systems.
4. Developing and integrating interfaces for telecommunication electronics subsystems, components, and elevator controller platforms.
5. Prepare technical specification for telecommunication electronics to support market scouting and buy/make decisions.
6. Defining high level requirements for telecommunication electronics on PCBAs, assemblies, harnesses, and sub-components.
7. Leading quality assurance efforts through designing FMEA, root cause analysis, and cross-functional reviews.
8. Supporting test and field analysis, documenting corrective actions, and driving continuous improvements.
9. Identifying telecommunication electronics technology trends and initiating feasibility studies with project management.
Mobility needs you
You are a proactive and reliable leader with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. Your analytical mindset and clear communication enable you to navigate complex technical challenges with precision. You excel at collaboration, influence, and stakeholder management, adapt quickly to new challenges, and take ownership with a structured and results-driven approach.
Further requirements may include:
10. Degree in electronics/telecommunication engineering or similar
11. Proven technical leadership skills
12. Extensive experience with telecommunications architecture design, ideally in the control systems domain
