Technical Sales Consultant - Physical Access Control Systems
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Technical Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for working closely with channel partners to understand their technology and business strategies, identifying opportunities to leverage HID's solutions.
* Support the sales team in closing deals with current and prospective customers, organizing regular conference calls and meetings as needed.
* Drive revenue growth by leveraging HID's technologies, building trusting relationships with technology decision-makers, and gaining a deep understanding of the channel partners' needs.
* Collaborate with internal teams to improve HID's portfolio, providing regular partner feedback and insights to inform product development.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Excellent industry knowledge and a willingness to stay up-to-date with market trends.
* Experience in the physical security industry, preferably with a focus on access control and IT sales channels.
* Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to convey and understand complex technical concepts.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
* A BEng or BSc degree in a technology-related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in sales engineering, systems engineering, technical sales, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in physical access control systems.
* A proven track record of successful technical sales leadership, with excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills.
