ABOUT SWISS COBOTICS COMPETENCE CENTER (S3C):
S3C is a non-profit association located in Biel/Bienne. As a research institution of national importance, S3C is being funded by the "Advanced Manufacturing Technology Transfer Centers" (AM-TTC) initiative for the years with funds from the ETH Board as well as from the Federal Department for Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER) according to Art. 15 RIPA. An option for follow-up funding for the years is already planned.

YOUR PROFILE:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in
robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science
, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in
Python and/or C++
, preferably with experience in
ROS/ROS2
.
Solid knowledge of
robot programming, path planning, optimization techniques, and/or machine learning for industrial or research applications
.
Hands-on experience with robot hardware, electronics, or embedded systems.
Familiarity with communication protocols and data exchange in networked robotic systems.
Creative thinker with the ability to design innovative solutions and tackle problems from new perspectives.
Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable experimenting with cutting-edge robotics technologies.
Proactive, flexible, and responsible team player with strong collaboration skills.
Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: German, French and English.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of
humanoid
and
collaborative robotic systems
as part of
innovation and research projects addressing real industry challenges.
Develop and test path planning, optimization, and machine learning solutions for robotic applications.
Plan and execute test and validation loops together with clients and partners.
Assist in preparing and running technical demonstrations and training sessions in robotics.
