You will be part of the ARDIAN Zurich team reporting to the local Chief Compliance Officer. You will support the day-to-day operations and ongoing development of the risk management framework and support the compliance function as needed. Your main tasks will be as follows:
* Contribute to the review and enhancement of the risk taxonomy, preparation of risk assessments and further activities related to risk management.
* Conduct deep dives on specific risks, monitor emerging risks and update the risks radar.
* Design and execute second-level control plans, review results and monitor implementation of related action plans.
* Help in enforcing and improving the risk management framework and ensuring that regulatory requirements are met (FinSA, FinIA, CDB20, CISA, Data Protection, etc.)
* Support the drafting, review, and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Support the operational risks management and follow-up of incidents.
* Assist with regular monitoring activities, including KYC/AML reviews and adherence to conduct rules.
* Conduct research on regulatory developments (e.g. Swiss and foreign financial market regulation, FINMA circulars, etc.).
* Help prepare risk management reports and documentation for management, auditors, or regulators.
* Monitor internal rules applicable to employees and maintain internal registers (e.g., gifts & entertainment, personal transactions, breaches/incidents).
* Contribute to internal risk management and compliance training material and awareness campaigns.
* Provide administrative support for audits and regulatory filings as needed.
* Serve as a point of contact for risk management and compliance related matters.
Your profile
* Completed studies in Economics, Law, Business Law or a related field.
* 1-2 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance or a related field.
* Interest in financial regulation, risk management, compliance and asset management.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Knowledge in Microsoft 365 Suite (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.)
* Fluent in German and English.
