We intend to hire a highly accomplished Investment Advisor to focus on investment coverage of sophisticated UHNW clients and Family Offices, with particular focus and expertise in Alternative investments. The Advisor will work closely with Relationship Managers and Product specialists to provide UHNW/FO clients with a sophisticated service around asset allocation structure and investment advisory.
This individual will bring a distinguished track record in advising wealth management clients on tailored solutions and will have deep knowledge of investment related platform capabilities in the wealth management industry. The ideal candidate will understand capital markets across asset classes but will be a designated champion of private equity investments and hedge fund solutions.
The Senior UHNW Investment Advisor is responsible for covering a book of client investment portfolios, as well as partnering with the Relationship Managers on prospecting efforts to deliver the Bank’s investment platform and specific solutions relevant and appropriate for the clients. The Investment Advisor is a client-facing role with full responsibility for the investment dialogue.
Key Responsibilities
1. Presenting the investment platform across all asset classes and solutions
2. Providing clients with comprehensive overview of our CIO forecasts and opinions
3. Act as the knowledge center on Alternatives positioning in the client portfolios across the regions
4. Preparing pitch documents, client presentation materials, and market analyses
5. Analyzing and selecting suitable investment solutions in line with client needs
6. Providing investment advice to clients and managing their after-sales experience
7. Executing client orders in investments/ capital markets in a timely and compliant manner
8. Providing Portfolio analyses and Strategic Asset Allocation advice
9. Responding to product related questions, issues, and problems
10. Achieving individual revenue and share of wallet targets, including supporting prospecting efforts of the Relationship Managers
11. Collaborate closely with key internal partners, including Legal, Compliance, Risk, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank
12. Understand and make sure to act in compliance with the Bank and regulatory policies, related to market risks, credit risks, operational risks, and reputational risks
Required Profile
13. Proven track record of managing and advising clients on investment portfolios
14. 10 or more years of relevant investment experience
15. Fluent in delivering an economic outlook
16. Good knowledge of Bloomberg and Microsoft Office programs
17. Strong team player – willing and able to work under pressure, being able to prioritize tasks
18. Alternatives expert able to support investment managers and RMs in pitches related to private equity and/ or hedge funds
19. Works efficiently with precision even under pressure, using initiative and market experience to identify the best solution
20. Positive, outgoing, and open-minded personality
21. Clear understanding of and respect for applicable legal and regulatory concepts, including cross-border frameworks, and requisite local requirements
22. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Other languages are beneficial, considering exposure to clients from across Europe International regions
23. Ability to introduce existing client relationships considered a plus
