Bio-Rad in Cressier is currently looking for a Supply Assurance Buyer (m/f/d) - 100%. Your impact:
Insure PO lifecycle management: Process orders in a timely manner and in compliance with best practices. Recognize and reconcile any potential order conflicts such as delivery/shipping delays, pricing errors, and out-of-stock situations to ensure orders will deliver on time and in full. Utilize reporting to identify and reconcile order expectations which could cause delays in deliveries or production. Ensure follow-up on quality issues.
Communication: Provide timely information regarding order processing, procedures, and system updates; resolve and/or escalate critical order issues to achieve manufacturing goals and priorities. Maintain direct contact with suppliers.
Data: Open and update data to ensure business continuity according to established rules.
Projects: Work on projects of limited scope and complexity.
Team support: Provide replacements within the team and support the group as needed.
What you bring:
French or German as mother tongue, with good knowledge of the other language, fluent in English
Good oral and written communication, negotiation, multitasking, and organizational skills
Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
SAP/R3 user knowledge
