As a Sales Engineer – PTFE Hoses, you will drive sustainable growth across Switzerland and Eastern France by developing strong customer partnerships and delivering technically advanced hose solutions for critical applications.
You will act as a trusted advisor to customers in highly regulated industries, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical manufacturing environments, particularly within upstream processing and fluid handling applications.
This role requires a hands‑on, hunter sales mindset, combined with a solid technical understanding of bioprocessing and liquid transfer systems.
Key Responsibilities
Consultative & Technical Sales
Understand customer processes, fluid transfer challenges, and GMP requirements
Provide tailored PTFE hose solutions for critical applications
Act as a technical advisor on sterile transfer, chemical compatibility, and process optimization
Business Development (Hunter Focus)
Identify and win new business across pharma, biotech, and chemical industries
Focus on upstream bioprocessing, API manufacturing, and liquid transfer applications
Build and manage a strong pipeline with a clear focus on new customer acquisition
Customer & Account Management
Develop relationships with OEMs, end‑users, and engineering teams
Support specification, validation, and implementation phases
Position solutions for critical liquid handling applications
Technical Sales & Positioning
Deliver presentations and demonstrate PTFE hose advantages (cleanability, flow, chemical resistance)
Support customers in improving processes and reducing risk
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
Prepare quotations, follow‑ups, and achieve sales targets
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution
Maintain CRM data, pipeline visibility, and market insights
Skills & Experience
Experience in technical sales (e.g. fluid handling, hoses, pumps, valves)
Background in bioprocessing, upstream manufacturing, or pharma liquid transfer
Proven hunter mindset with strong new business development experience
Understanding of pharma/biotech environments, GMP, and validation requirements
Experience working with API manufacturers, biotech companies or OEMs
Fluent in German and English (French is a plus)
