Your responsibilities include:
* Assembly & Integration: Professional assembly of aerospace units, including engineering models, qualification models, flight models and small series production.
* Precision work: Exact execution of assembly work strictly according to drawings, work instructions and the demanding aerospace quality standards.
* Cable assembly: Cable processing and manufacturing of cable harnesses according to precise technical specifications.
* Testing: Conducting measurements, functional checks and test runs in close cooperation with the AIT Engineers.
* Documentation: Complete documentation of the work performed, as well as the creation of assembly and measurement reports.
* Special processes: Application of specialized manufacturing techniques such as soldering, crimping, gluing, pressing and precision mechanical assembly work.
* CIP: Active participation in the optimization of assembly aids, fixtures and equipment.
Your profile – This job is perfect for you if you...
* have completed basic technical training (e.g. as a polymechanic, automation technician or mechatronics technician).
* possess sound experience in the assembly of precise components and in cable assembly.
* are thoroughly familiar with manufacturing standards in highly regulated or precision industries (such as aerospace, medtech, watchmaking, precision mechanics or high-end industries).
* demonstrate an extremely careful, precise and highly quality-conscious way of working.
* to have genuine enjoyment in practical and precision mechanical work.
* possess very good German and English skills (both spoken and written).
