This role is pivotal in expanding our market reach and establishing long-term relationships with key industry players, research institutions, and technology providers globally. We don't expect you to have a background in everything we do, but we do expect strong business development foundations and a passion for technology and innovation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Partnerships Associate to identify, negotiate, and manage strategic collaborations within our ecosystem that drive growth and market penetration for our Self-Driving Labs™ technologies. You will be instrumental in expanding our ecosystem and creating mutually beneficial relationships that enhance our product offering and sales channels. You will report directly to Martina Lofqvist, Head of Alliances and Strategic Growth, and be a part of the MAST team (Marketing, Alliances, and Strategy).


Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day partner engagement, including communication with partner sales representatives and marketing teams for co‑sales, co‑marketing, and intelligence gathering (e.g., within our AWS partnership).
* Support partner onboarding and success by preparing enablement materials, tracking performance metrics, maintaining partnerships dashboards, and generating regular reports.
* Coordinate partner-driven sales opportunities, facilitating warm introductions, identifying revenue‑sharing paths, and ensuring partners are equipped with the right tools and resources.
* Conduct partner research and pipeline development, identifying new strategic partners, preparing background briefs and proposal materials, and coordinating with internal teams during negotiation phases.
* Manage and qualify inbound leads from marketing activities (website, LinkedIn, webinars), ensuring proper tracking, routing, and follow‑up.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align on objectives and strategies, ensuring partnerships and growth initiatives deliver maximum impact.


Requirements

Must‑have:

* 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances in the B2B SaaS or technology sector.
* Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and launching partnerships and/or sales initiatives.
* Strong understanding of the technology landscape, preferably with exposure to AI, Machine Learning, or R&D software.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
* Proficiency in English is required, as it is our primary working language.

Nice‑to‑have:

* Startup experience and comfort with rapid iteration.
* Experience in the Life Sciences, Materials Science, or Chemical industries.
* Proficiency in French or German is a plus.
* Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
* Experience with automation tools.
