Join Axpo as a Senior Trader of carbon certificates in the rapidly evolving emissions market. Take financial proprietary positions and help to develop analytical models.
What you will do:
* Take proprietary trading positions in carbon certificates or related commodities/products.
* Work closely with our analysts, fostering knowledge transfer, developing in-house models and enhancing fundamental market forecasting.
* Stay informed about regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure compliance and drive innovation in carbon trading practices.
* Provide market access to other desks for hedging purposes.
* Discuss and share views with our other related trading desks (power, gas, petroleum, etc.)
What you bring & who you are:
* Master’s or PhD in business or natural sciences.
* Several years of experience in trading EUAs and/or UKAs within a trading house, fund, or utility.
* Proven track record of strong PnL performance.
* Willing and able to work in an international context.
* Excellent communication skills and a fundamental trading approach.
