Our client is a reputable bank in Basel that relies on secure, stable and highly efficient IT operations. To strengthen the IT Support and Records Management functions, we are looking for a versatile 2nd Level IT Support Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a reliable and structured approach to information and correspondence management.
Your Responsibilities
2nd Level Support
* Coordination with external service providers and engineering teams
* Support for virtual meetings and collaboration tools
* Installation, repair, configuration, staging and decommissioning of client hardware
* Hardware lifecycle and inventory management
* Support with security vulnerability remediation and compliance activities
* Mobile device configuration and troubleshooting (MDM Intune)
* Identity and Access Management administration, including MFA and account lifecycle
* Escalation handling and problem analysis for complex client issues
Technologies & Tools
* M365 Apps and MS Teams
* Active Directory and Azure AD
* MFA, Identity and Access Management
* Citrix and VDI
* MS Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Endpoint Analytics
* Windows and macOS endpoint environments
* Standard collaboration and ITSM tools
General Responsibilities
* Independent handling of 2nd level incidents and service requests
* Troubleshooting of hardware, software and network related issues
* Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
* Collaboration with engineering and project teams on upgrades, rollouts and infrastructure initiatives
Your Profile
* Completed IT training or equivalent hands‑on experience in a banking or regulated environment
* Strong experience in 2nd level client support and endpoint management
* Solid technical knowledge across M365, MS Teams, SharePoint, Intune, SCCM, AD/Azure AD, Citrix and VDI
* Experience with IAM and MFA, ideally including SailPoint
* Ability to manage both technical support tasks and structured information/records processes
* Professional communication skills and confidence in supporting VIP users
* Reliable, structured and service oriented working style
* Very good English skills, German is an advantage
