The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the material sourcing strategy, identifying and onboarding top-notch material suppliers globally to drive business growth. This pivotal role demands an experienced textile visionary who possesses in-depth knowledge of global economic dynamics and can build agility and flexibility for the company.
This senior leader will oversee the Material Commercialization and Sourcing team structure to ensure scalability. Key responsibilities include managing commercialization processes for all material types across apparel and accessories, ensuring quality and durability across all product categories, and building a best-in-class Material supplier base with the right infrastructure, technical expertise, and flexibility for speed to market.
A bachelor's degree in Textile R&D, Engineering, and/or technology is required, along with 15+ years of experience in any material/textile-related field in consumer products, including 10+ years of leadership experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills, be able to work seamlessly across various functions, and possess superior communication and presentation skills.
