Your mission - should you choose to accept it
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team in Zurich. In this role, you will help identify, segment, and target potential B2C2B and B2B customers. You’ll run A/B tests on the millions of users who visit Smallpdf each month, making a significant impact not only on the company’s ARR but also on its future strategy. Most importantly, you will enhance how users worldwide work and collaborate with documents.
You’ll collaborate with engineers, data scientists, designers, and user researchers to explore, test, and iterate on new ways to expand Smallpdf’s presence in B2B and B2C2B use cases—while ensuring our core B2C product remains simple and accessible to everyone.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and Prioritize Opportunities: Analyze user behavior and market data to uncover new opportunities for scaling Smallpdf into B2B use cases while maintaining a simple and accessible B2C product.
* Roadmap Development: Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on user feedback and business goals.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside engineers, designers, and UX writers to produce high-quality products as part of a collaborative team.
* User Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the user, ensuring their needs are central to product development decisions.
* Performance Monitoring and Data Analysis: Leverage SQL to query and analyze data, interpret experiment results, and derive actionable insights from complex datasets to inform product decisions and strategy.
* Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and results to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams.
Requirements
* 5+ years in product management within the SaaS industry.
* Strong knowledge of SQL.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Comfortable stepping outside the typical scope of the role when needed — whether it’s conducting user interviews, supporting sales calls, or helping to resolve cross-functional challenges to drive business outcomes.
* Fluent verbal and written skills in English.
