Job Title: Technical Customer Support Leader in Power Electronics
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Customer Support Specialist to lead our team in providing exceptional technical support to customers in the power electronics industry. Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers and distributors, addressing all technical and application questions across our product portfolio, including IGBTs, IGCTs, Diodes, Thyristors, PCTs, and MOSFETs
* Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and distributors through clear and reliable technical communication in the areas of rectifiers, inverters, industrial drives, traction converters, power electronics, active components and thermal design
* Collaborate with various departments (R&D, Product Management, Sales & Marketing) to acquire, retain, and support customers in the traction, industry, photovoltaic, electrical vehicles and renewable energy sectors, ultimately strengthening our market position
* Gain in-depth knowledge of product applications, identify market trends related to power electronics devices and systems, and find potential areas for market share growth
* Handle internal tasks like customer waivers and technical approvals while actively contributing to the team's strategy
* Lead a team of technical support specialists, overseeing processes like specification reviews and design-in projects
* Identify new product uses for our product portfolio, contribute to product roadmaps aligned with market trends and manage customer needs in line with company strategy
