With a strong track record in closing private debt and equity transactions in Africa and a growing pipeline of renewable energy and corporate transactions in Europe, we are now seeking to expand our team with a high-calibre Investment Analyst to help analyse, structure, and execute capital raising mandates for businesses across Europe.
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and entrepreneurial self-starter with a passion for corporate finance, investment analysis, and closing capital raising transactions.
As an Investment Analyst at Hillingdale, you will play a central role in evaluating opportunities, structuring transactions, and supporting execution from origination through to close. You will work directly with senior team members, C-suite business owners and executives, and global institutional investors in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Investor Engagement & Capital Raising – Prepare pitch decks, financial models, investor materials, and data rooms; support investor outreach and relationship building.
* Financial & Sector Analysis – Conduct detailed company, market, and sector analysis; prepare forecasts and valuations.
* Transaction Structuring & Execution – Design suitable transaction structures and actively lead negotiations, pitches, legal processes, and fund transfers. You must be a deal-closer.
* Stakeholder Collaboration – Work with senior executives, business owners, and institutional investors; collaborate with internal teams on pipeline management and reporting.
* Full Transaction Cycle – From origination to close, contribute to all aspects of capital raising and corporate finance execution.
Candidate Profile
* Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, or energy/renewables.
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (Excel proficiency required).
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities; confident in pitching to senior stakeholders.
* Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
* Motivated to build a career in capital raising and corporate finance, with a strong drive to close transactions.
