Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. • Experience: minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in PCB design and electronics development. • Experience with aerospace, defense, or UAV/UAS electronics systems preferred. Hands-on experience with PCB design tools and electronics laboratory equipment. • Skills: proficiency with PCB design software (Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle, or KiCAD). • Experience with simulation tools (PSpice, or equivalent). Strong understanding of analogue and digital circuit design principles. • Knowledge of power electronics including switching regulators, DC-DC converters, and battery management systems. Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems hardware. Understanding of EMC/EMI design principles and mitigation techniques. • Experience with electronics testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other test equipment. • Hands-on problem-solving skills and ability to support both design and production activities. Willingness to work in both office and production floor environments. • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and certification standards (e.g., FAA AC 21-99(0), SAE AS50881, IPC-2221). Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet). Experience with DO-254 (Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware) certification process.
