As a Senior Installation Supervisor at Bühler you are managing and leading a team of technicians required for the installation of big and/or complex projects (X-BU, type A projects). You would be responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of the installation supervision, within scope of work associated to the assigned project. Responsibilities
* You ensure that the personnel assigned is fully acquainted with the site‑specific rules, safety regulations and environmental protection measures and that they perform their work accordingly, while you perform installation according to the specifications and engineering documents, taking into account the safety instructions, environmental protection measures and local regulations.
* You monitor progress of construction against the programme, and take steps to ensure the programme is achieved. You initiate mitigation/preventive actions as required to achieve target programme timely with the support of the Site Manager or Project Manager.
* You conduct or attend daily and weekly meetings with Bühler staff and subcontractors, ensuring that the Site Manager and the Project Manager receive regular information updates, and fostering correct behaviour and good teamwork within the installation and commissioning team in accordance with company policy and local requirements/regulations.
* You ensure proper reporting while identifying, documenting and communicating any deviations from customer contract, and you are responsible for maintaining an intensive customer relationship and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications
* Engineering degree and 10 years of experience as Chief Installation Supervisor or proof of sufficient skills.
* Technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company.
* Strong planning, organising and priority‑setting skills, with a proven ability to manage teams.
* Strong customer focus, sound judgment and decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
