Job Description:
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician specialized in Chemistry, GLP, and Packaging for a contract opportunity based in Neuchatel within the Pharma sector.
Your tasks include:
* Executing tests on packaging materials and filling goods, including quick tests, standard, shelf life, and special tests, to address specific questions.
* Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations in the Packaging Test Lab.
* Maintaining cleanliness, disinfection, and proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
* Assisting with receipt, inspection, and inventory of raw materials and supplies.
* Applying extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish laboratory goals.
* Performing a variety of routine and non-routine tasks with creativity and autonomy.
* Reporting to a supervisor or manager.
* Communicating effectively with internal colleagues across manufacturing, transportation, and storage sectors.
* Ensuring operational readiness of instruments and proper documentation.
* Managing storage, testing, and waste in accordance with HSE standards.
* Supporting logistics and internal order processes, recommending improvements for efficiency.
Your experience and knowledge:
* Trained Laboratory or Chemical Technician
* Knowledge of Chemical Laboratory practices
* Basic understanding of GLP
* Strong HSE awareness
* Basic knowledge of PFAS and transport regulations
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Your soft skills:
* Excellent comprehension and attention to detail
* Strong self-organization and time management skills
* Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
