We offer full-time opportunities for MBA students in Emerson's MBA Leadership Program, with the goal to recruit high-potential talent with experience, skills, and enthusiasm. As an HR Strategic Planner, you will join a team of senior leaders to meet strategic and tactical HR objectives. In addition, you'll receive various learning experiences ranging from leadership trainings, mentorship and coaching, and networking opportunities with our executive leaders.
This position is based at our Europe Headquarters in Baar, Switzerland, reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, Emerson Europe.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
* Gain exposure to a variety of HR projects: Learn about Emerson's philosophies, operating model, and processes used to Support Our People and drive our Transformation Journey.
* Drive our Go People Strategy Execution: Translate the Europe HR strategic vision into action—planning, tracking, and supporting initiatives across countries, business units, and functions.
* Support the HR Centers of Excellence: On a broad range of core HR services, including Talent, Performance Management, Culture, Employee Experience, Total Rewards, Data Analytics, and special projects, as needed.
* Partner with Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Europe Leadership Team to align on priorities and ensure transparency and accountability on key initiatives.
* Advance Talent Programs: Coordinate and support the deployment and execution of key enterprise programs (e.g., Performance Management, Org Reviews, and High Potential Development).
* Shape Culture & Inclusion: Contribute to Europe-wide initiatives that strengthen our inclusive workplace, improve engagement, and drive collaboration and innovation.
* Enable Organizational Effectiveness: Provide insights through data analysis, strategic planning tools, and project management support to enable smarter decision-making across the function.
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
* MBA degree (completed or pending graduation)
* 2-4 years of relevant work experience
* Proven leadership experience
* Action-oriented mindset with a focus on driving results
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to optimize work processes
* Self-awareness and learning agility
* Willingness and availability to travel across Europe
