The Relationship Officer is responsible for managing and closing client accounts, ensuring high-quality client service throughout the process.

What you will do:
* Manage the account closing process efficiently and in a timely manner.
* Support the management of affiliate accounts (accounts of other Group entities).
* Deliver a high-level professional client experience to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
* Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines, regulations, and laws in all activities.
In this role you will:
* Maintain the highest standards of excellence in client service by attending to client inquiries and requests.
* Explain operational matters to clients, developing their awareness, understanding, and ability to comply with operational requirements.
* Take prompt and appropriate actions to address client feedback and complaints.
* Ensure all client-service activities comply with established processes and procedures.
* Handle account closures effectively, even under constraints such as multiple blockages.
* Process account closures promptly, in full compliance with HSBC Global Standards and account closing principles.
* Manage daily activities of active affiliate accounts.
* Engage in productive conversations with clients.
* Proactively identify and discuss issues that hinder work progress and account closures.
