Job Description
In this role, you will engage in the development, enhancement and maintenance of C++ based software solutions running on a System on Chip platform. You will also interact with the stakeholders to capture and implement their requirements.
Your responsibilities
1. Enhance and maintain C++ software that controls and monitors power converters.
2. Develop and integrate software for Linux and bare-metal cores on the AMD Zynq UltraScale+ SoC platform.
3. Participate in software validation using hardware-in-the-loop digital twins, as well as in the commissioning of real power converters ranging from a few kilowatts to tens of megawatts.
4. Contribute to our CI/CD and automated testing framework.
5. Supervise students.

Your profile
6. Proficiency in C++, ideally the latest standard C++20.
7. Experience with Linux OS * Knowledgeable in git, gitlab and CI/CD.
8. Ease communicating with colleagues and stakeholders.
9. Basic understanding of System on Chips (SoC) and control theory is advantageous but not mandatory.

16. You have a professional background in Software or electronics engineering (or a related field) and have either:a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience;or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
17. You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
