Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Assess and analyze design control processes to identify pain points and opportunities for leveraging Generative AI to increase productivity, taking into account the Roche corporate AI strategy
* Identify the use cases for automating and digitalizing work processes, key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of the AI implementation
* Lead the development of a proof of concept for a selected AI concept, working with internal resources or external partners to deliver a demonstrable solution within a 3-4 month cycle
* Support the development, validation and scale-up of an chosen AI implementation
* Actively participate in an agile environment, contributing to project planning, execution, and delivery
Must Haves:
* Bachelor Degree in IT or internal development processes and/or digitalization in a regulated environment
* Min. 3-5 years of experience in a regulated environment, such as the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
* Deep familiarity with engineering design processes and design control documentation
* Experience working with agile methodologies, including an understanding of a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) setup
* Proven ability to conduct business analysis and translate business needs into actionable use cases for technological solutions
* A strong interest and foundational knowledge in Generative AI and its application to business problems
* Knowledge in validation of computerized systems, ideally including AI capabilities
* Demonstrated experience in a project-based role with a focus on quick, iterative delivery
* Fluent English spoken & written skills, German nice to have
