The Back Office department is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support their Controls team during a transitional period. This is a dynamic opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of financial instruments and systems within a high-performing team.
As a Back Office Generalist, you will be an integral part of the Back Office Controls team, supporting operational processes and acting as a key liaison across departments. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing, confirming, and matching financial transactions
Resolving settlement issues and confirmation
eaks with front office, custodians, and clients
Managing settlement instructions and ensuring accurate and timely payments
Monitoring cash settlements and conducting reconciliations
Investigating
eaks and managing compensation requests
Supporting documentation and continuous process improvement
Acting as a key contact for internal stakeholders on back-office matters
6 months temporary contract (possibility of extension)
+3 years of experience in Back/Middle office within Financial Services
3+ years of experience in a back or middle office function within financial services
Solid knowledge of financial instruments and messaging (bonds, FX, derivatives, etc.)
Experience in cash management and trade reconciliation
Strong interest in IT and technology; open to process innovation
Familiarity with SWIFT messaging formats is desirable
Fluency in English is essential, German is a bonus
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
