About the role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. As the right hand to our Head Chef, you'll play a vital role in leading kitchen operations, inspiring the team, and ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and creativity.
More specifically, responsibilities will include the following:
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring smooth service
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
Assist with menu planning, inventory, and food cost control
Step in to lead the kitchen during Head Chef’s absence
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
The skills we are looking for are:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
Passion for food and a keen eye for detail
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, stock management, and cost control
Culinary qualifications or relevant experience
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills by using their outgoing personality to interact with guests, employees, and others.
