What You'll Do
As Project Manager - Caribbean Luxury Development, you'll oversee a luxury waterfront development in the Bahamas. This includes dock extension, dredging, and custom residential construction on the coast. You'll work with local contractors and permitting bodies to ensure progress despite the challenges of the Caribbean labor environment. You'll own the execution of the project while reporting directly to the VP of Land Development.

Detail-focused leader - tracks budgets, contractor scope, and scheduling nuances
Contractor whisperer - skilled in managing unstructured labor markets where communication and follow-up are everything
Field-savvy coordinator - understands weather delays, import logistics, and vendor reliability risks
Persistent executor - follows up relentlessly, builds relationships, and gets results despite red tape
Responsibilities
Manage execution of Caribbean dock extension, luxury home construction, and coastal infrastructure
Navigate local permitting and inspections with government officials
Vet and manage local contractors with frequent follow-ups and documentation
Track project milestones, costs, and delivery timelines
Proactively escalate issues and coordinate contingency plans
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with U.S. and Bahamian regulations
What You'll Bring
5+ years in international, island, or coastal construction project management
Experience managing vendors and labor in the Caribbean or similar regions
Demonstrated success navigating unpredictable labor conditions and delays
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience coordinating marine work (e.g., dock construction, dredging) a plus
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Willingness to work in the Bahamas on rotation as needed
Compensation & Benefits
An aggressive base salary will be provided in this position, with an additional lucrative bonus plan based on performance. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this role. Options/equity will be provided to suitable candidates after completion of the first 90 days. This role also provides the opportunity for advancement in role, function, and pay.
