In the role of a Flight System Architect, you bring proven experience in the ATM (Air Traffic Management) industry, with a solid understanding of SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) principles, paradigms, and best practices. You should have experience integrating legacy applications and transforming traditional applications into services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design solutions for all flight functions of related system components, including coordination and planning of software integrations both internally and with third-party applications.
2. Define, review, and validate the short, mid, and long-term target architectures of Skyguide's application landscape as a member of the System Architecture Board.
3. Design, develop, and validate solution prototypes in various environments to certify the accuracy and viability of designs and implementations.
4. Model, maintain, and document all architectural artifacts and promote optimal communication levels.
5. Support flight-related product owners and subject matter experts in understanding domain needs and designing appropriate solutions to fulfill those needs.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
* At least 10 years of software engineering experience in a similar role, designing or developing application systems.
* Experience in architectural design roles, preferably as a system architect, with over 5 years' experience in SOA.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
