Position overview
This position sits at the heart of Art Basel’s global communications operation.
It is a hands‑on, front‑line position supporting the delivery of communications across Art Basel’s global portfolio of shows — Basel, Miami Beach, Hong Kong, Paris and Qatar — as well as year‑round initiatives and other business priorities.
Working as part of a highly collaborative, international team, the role is pivotal to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the global press office and wider communications function.
The Communications Assistant reports to a Basel‑based Communications Manager and works closely with the Global Head of Communications and colleagues across the global team. The role also collaborates with peers across editorial, social media and digital, as well as with external partners, agencies and media. Strong integration with, and clear accountability to, the MCH communications team is essential.

The role offers exposure to complex, high‑profile communications across international markets, major cultural moments, and a uniquely interconnected network of stakeholders.
