Electrical Asset Manager
CERN's electrical transmission and distribution network is a complex system that requires precise management to ensure optimal operation. As an Electrical Asset Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining the representation of the electrical network asset base and associated inventory within CERN's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with CMMS systems, specifically in asset structuring and maintenance data modelling. They should also be familiar with handling assets such as transformers, HV/MV/LV switchgear, etc., and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
This position involves conducting site surveys to collect asset information, processing the data using AI-based tools where applicable, and configuring all asset data in the CMMS. The successful candidate will also assist in defining and assigning preventive maintenance tasks, scheduling frequencies, and associating necessary resources.
The Electrical Asset Manager will work closely with field teams and technical experts to resolve data gaps and maintain complete and up-to-date documentation on all CMMS asset configurations, hierarchies, and related structures. They will also support users by providing training, user documentation, and technical assistance related to asset and maintenance data.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess a strong understanding of electrical infrastructure environments and be able to operate and maintain electrical circuits and networks. They should also be comfortable working in radiation areas and have a valid driving license.
