Key responsibilities:
- Development and programming of PLCs and HMIs
- Support customers and colleagues on Automation related Topics remotely or on site
- Participate on Commissioning and Retrofit Projects
- Software, Hardware and function test in-house or directly on site
- Preparation and execution of internal trainings
- Creation of documentation
- Travel activity of about 5%-15% (Mostly Europe)
Your profile:
- Successfully completed education or further training in a specialized field as automation specialist / engineer
- 2 years of professional experience as Automation Engineer is an advantage
- Profound knowledge of PLC development environments, preferably Siemens TIA Portal / Step7
- Knowledge in electrical CAD preferably EPLAN P8
- Knowledge of standards and guidelines in control engineering
- Knowledge of control programming in FBD, LAD, SCL / ST. (C and C++ is nice to have)
- Knowledge in network technology
- Knowledge of communication interfaces CAN, Modbus, OPC-UA
- Experience in the development and programming of PLCs and HMIs
- Knowledge of virtual machines is an advantage
- Motivated to engage and evolve with Digitalization / cloud solutions in the future.
- Motivated to learn new PLC Programming platforms
- Motivated and flexible team player
- Languages: German & English professional (C1)
