Overview
The Senior Fundraising Specialist is actively involved in the acquisition of contractual partners and financial investors and supports the business activities of SH SCHWEIZER HYPOTHEKEN AG in the procurement of institutional investors.
Our ideal candidate will focus on the acquisition of clients from the UHNW sector, Single Family Offices (SFO), Multi-Family Offices (MFO), Asset Management Companies (AMC), Independent Asset Management (IAM), pension funds, investment foundations, church and charitable investors and insurance companies.
Preferably, he or she will already have a network of several years as a specialist for the aforementioned client target group, both nationally and internationally.
The aim here is to familiarise these target groups with our business opportunities and to offer cooperation.
What the job involves:
* Actively involve your network of institutional and semi-institutional investors in the company's goals.
* Establish new relationships by reaching out to UHNW, SFO, MFO, IAM investors and asset managers worldwide.
* Help raise capital for the company's strategies by reaching out to old and new customers from our and your network, educating them and building solid relationships.
* Expand existing contacts from your and our network and develop new client relationships so that they can familiarise themselves with the full range of our investment products and use them to achieve their investment goals.
* Organise roadshows for investors and lead meetings with potential investors.
* Prepare briefings for investor meetings, distribute marketing materials and follow up with interested investors.
* Active participation in investment conferences and associations to expand industry knowledge.
* Keep clients, prospects and advisors informed of the investment philosophy, process and performance of property products and platforms and act as the main point of contact when required.
* Assist in due diligence meetings with investors throughout the fundraising period.
* Support in the preparation of marketing materials, data room, due diligence questionnaires and other documents.
Who we are looking for:
* Existing client network of institutional investors with a proven track record in the placement of securitisation products
* Experience and knowledge in servicing UHNW, SFO, MFO, IAM investors and asset managers and established relationships with this spectrum of investors and tipsters and advisors in this area.
* At least five years of professional experience in an institutional sales department in asset management or capital market providers.
* Proven track record in sales, experience and pipeline development.
* Network with institutional clients, IAMs, family offices and other professional investors.
* Entrepreneurial, practical, with a positive attitude and a passion for raising capital.
* At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, a CFA or CAIA is an advantage.
* A charismatic communicator with strong presentation and public speaking skills
* You are able to work independently and be a strong team player at the same time.
* You must also be prepared to travel.
* Fluent in English and German
* French, Spanish, Italian would be an advantage.
* Perfect in MS Office applications.
