Recognized as a key partner of the Group brands for the production of ceramics, sapphire glasses, and watch stones for the watchmaking industry, we offer a position at our production site in Boncourt: TOOLING BUILDER (M/F) Main Mission: Within the technical department, the mechanical/microtechnical builder works in the development, design, and drafting of precision tools intended for the production of watch components. He/she participates in the refinement, testing, and continuous improvement of these tools in close collaboration with the Methods, Production, and Quality departments. Job Description - Design and develop mechanical and microtechnical tools that meet the specific needs of production (assembly, control, etc.). - Develop and prepare definition plans, technical files, and documentation according to internal standards. - Participate in the fine-tuning, functional tests, and validation of tools. - Ensure the technical follow-up of tools both internally and externally. - Propose and develop innovative solutions integrating ergonomics, productivity, safety, and quality criteria. - Collaborate closely with the Methods and Production teams to ensure technical coherence and process alignment. - Contribute to the preservation of know-how and the updating of technical knowledge. Work Environment Technical department integrated into a high-precision watch production site, closely working with Methods, Production, Quality, and Maintenance services. The activity is focused on the design of specific tools, prototypes, and devices. Profile - Technician or engineer in mechanical engineering or at least 5 years of experience in designing precision tools, ideally in the watchmaking field. - Mastery of 3D CAD software is a must; knowledge of another software like SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent is essential. - Knowledge in machining, fitting, assembly, and tolerancing processes. - Required skills: Analytical mind, rigor, sense of detail, and orientation towards technical solutions. - Ability to work in a team and interact effectively with the site's internal departments. - Experience in mold development is an additional asset. - Strong interest in ergonomics and industrial performance.
