Electrical Systems Engineer
ANAVIA specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of vertical takeoff & landing (VTOL) systems of up to 500 kilograms. The company offers industry‑leading unmanned helicopter systems for various mission profiles, such as surveillance & reconnaissance, inspection, mapping and cargo.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and test electrical and electronic systems for unmanned vehicles, including power distribution, sensors, communication systems and control electronics.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software and control systems, ensuring seamless operation.
* Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components, performing performance evaluations and troubleshooting issues.
* Research and select appropriate electrical components and subsystems, ensuring reliability, performance and compliance with industry standards.
* Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications and test plans, to support development and regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with software and systems engineers to ensure that electrical designs meet overall project objectives and requirements.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production systems, implementing design improvements as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
* Previous experience in electrical design for unmanned systems, robotics or aerospace applications.
* Proficiency in circuit design, embedded systems and design software such as Altium and MATLAB.
* Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, SPI).
* Strong communication skills, high social aptitude and excellent analytical and technical understanding.
* Good written and oral English skills.
