The Outage Services Division is seeking experienced Technical Field Advisors (TFA). The candidate would be responsible for meeting the maintenance and repair needs of customers’ equipment, establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers, and performing necessary administrative duties. This position requires extensive travel within the US and short-term international travel.
Duties & Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
* Lead Technical Advisor overseeing entire scope of project, including project management, site safety, oversight of labor and job financials.
* Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair on designated equipment, specifically, steam turbines and generators.
* Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications.
* Maintaining customer service logs, internal service records, and final reports in a timely manner.
* Proper use of tooling and maintenance of tools and test equipment, ensuring calibration.
* Maintaining daily communication with customers for resolution and proper follow-up.
* Working as part of a team to provide efficient service delivery.
* Adhering to regulatory requirements, including OSHA 10/30.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years experience diagnosing and repairing steam turbine and generator equipment.
* Experience interfacing with internal teams and external customers.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Proficiency with MS Office products.
* Adaptability, decision-making, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
* Ability to attain Passport, TWIC, OSHA 30, pass background check and drug screen.
* Ability to work in power plant and industrial environments with extensive travel.
