Sales & business development manager - 100%

Responsibilities

1. Development and implementation of a market-oriented sales and business development strategy for technically demanding system solutions

2. Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify business opportunities and target markets

3. Building, maintaining, and further developing long-term customer relationships in defined regions – including international travel

4. Planning and coordinating market entry and sales activities in close collaboration with Product Management and Marketing

5. Independently managing the entire sales process – from lead generation to proposal preparation to contract conclusion

6. Organizing and participating in customer events, trade shows, and presentations

7. Supporting and guiding customers throughout the entire project lifecycle – from initial contact to the successful handover of the system

8. Maintaining and updating sales-relevant documentation and customer data

Hardskills

9. Several years of professional experience in international B2B sales of complex capital goods, ideally in a GMP-regulated environment

10. Proven experience in launching new, technically complex products and in strategic market development

11. Technical or business education (HF/FH/University)

12. Confident handling of complex sales processes and interdisciplinary collaboration

13. Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken

14. High level of self-motivation, independence, and entrepreneurial thinking

15. Strong customer and service orientation with a confident demeanor at all hierarchical levels

16. Excellent communication skills and confident presence during presentations and negotiations

17. Negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and a solution-oriented approach

18. Enjoyment of working with interdisciplinary and international teams
