The PositionAs “ Embedded Software Engineer“, you develop and verify embedded software with respect to specification, defined cost, quality and schedule, and contribute to the department continuous improvement. The main responsibilities for this role are as follows:Contribute in identifying customer needs and estimating software development effortsModel and analyze software requirementsPerform software design, code and integrationPerform software verification (review/analyses/high low level test)Comply with industry quality guidelinesSupport client during testing activitiesPerform maintenance of previously developed projectsContribute to the improvement of development methodology and to technical innovationYour ProfileUniversity Degree (Master) in software or robotics Engineering2-4 years of industrial experience in Embedded Software Engineering activities, ideally including FPGAIdeally experienced, with industrial development processes (Aerospace/Energy sector) as well as knowledge/experience in designing and implementing signal processing algorithms (Accel/Tacho/FIR)Ability to understand and contextualize customer needs, in industrial development or research contextGood interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in a changing environment and to prioritize duties in order to meet deadlinesGood team player and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsAutonomous, proactive and “can do” attitudeOut-of-the-box thinking and curiosityFluent in English with very good command of French (spoken and written).
