Join us as an External Due Diligence Manager
* You'll be leading the delivery of the External Due Diligence (EDD) programme for clients, their delegated entities and custodians in line with the regulatory requirements
* You'll also be making sure regulatory changes and impact are understood and incorporated within the EDD programme

What you'll do
In this key role, you'll be responsible for scheduling and undertaking allocated due diligence reviews in line with the EDD procedure. You'll stay updated with all relevant regulatory changes and understand the potential impact on the EDD programme. You will also lead the digitalization of the external due diligence activities including leveraging AI and pivoting to insights driven approach on due diligence.
You'll also be building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues, particularly developing links with the external compliance team in the UK along with maintaining external and internal stakeholder relationships.
Additionally, you'll be:
* Maintaining up-to-date and accurate audit MI and gathering ongoing MI to perform a risk-based monitoring programme
* Operating an ongoing monitoring process to assess and reassess the risk rating of external parties
* Providing information and producing risk rating recommendations for the Risk Committee, as well as conducting initial due diligence on new service providers and providing an opinion to New Deal Committee
* Promoting appropriate business and risk awareness behaviours requiring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and our Group policies
The skills you'll need
To thrive in this role, you'll need knowledge of collective investment schemes, the funds industry and relevant regulatory requirements, particularly AIFMD and CSSF Circulars. Knowledge of the depositary's oversight responsibilities and previous experience in external due diligence will also be essential.
You'll also need:
* Experience of standard auditing techniques, assessing procedures, controls and appropriate testing methods
* Good inter-personal skills with the ability to forge working relationships with clients and senior stakeholders
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Previous managerial experience and evidenced ability to coach & train colleagues to build their future readiness
