Responsibilities
* Prepare and execute the calibration of a new sterilizer / autoclaves
* Define calibration methods, review technical requirements, and ensure alignment with applicable standards.
* Write and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to calibration activities.
* Collaborate with machine vendor and calibration suppliers to coordinate calibration activities and verify results.
* Support and advise the on-site test engineer performing functional tests, providing technical inputs to save time and optimize results.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and laboratory calibration requirements.
* Review and maintain documentation for internal audits, quality inspections, and regulatory compliance.
* Manage project-related calibration activities
* Provide technical recommendations and corrective actions if discrepancies or deviations are observed.
About you
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Metrology, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in calibration/metrology in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
* Practical experience with ISO 17025 standards and laboratory calibration requirements.
* Experience interacting with equipment vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
* Strong documentation and SOP writing skills.
* Solid understanding of calibration techniques and instrumentation in pharma/sterilization environments.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently under tight deadlines.
