Overview

Located in a major life sciences hub, it plays a central role in advancing knowledge in medicine, biology, and pharmaceutical sciences, often working closely with hospitals, industry leaders, and international research networks.
The institution is known for its interdisciplinary approach, combining clinical practice with cutting-edge scientific research to improve patient outcomes.
Within their Intralogistics department, they are looking for a Team Leader Area Distribution to join the team. This is a permanent role to be based in Basel, and we are looking for candidates who are fluent in both English and German languages.
Main Responsibilities
* Operational and professional management of the area distribution team, including internal mail, with a total of approximately 15 employees.
* Participation in cross-departmental projects
* Ensuring timely and professional completion of customer orders, including coordination with partners and service providers (service & support)
* Responsible for compliance with quality assurance, hygiene standards and legal requirements (e.g. occupational safety, confidentiality of correspondence and postal communications)
* Reviewing and managing relevant documents on process flows, work instructions and training, as well as collecting and monitoring key performance indicators.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
* Completed vocational training, e.g. as a logistics specialist specializing in distribution
* Experience in Logistics or Intralogistics
* Good German skills, both spoken and written; knowledge of other languages is an advantage (French, Italian)
* Good computer skills (MS Office) and SAP knowledge
* Reliable, solution-oriented personality with a strong service orientation
* A responsible person with strong communication skills and an independent, structured work style.
