Job Description:
As the Plant Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing capital investment projects, including building and commissioning new manufacturing units. You will provide leadership to a team of supervisors, senior engineers, and specialists in Engineering & Maintenance, CQV, EI&C, Utilities / Facilities Operations. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing the Maintenance and LAMP strategy, standards, and concepts in alignment with the whole site.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a similar field. Profound experience in a leading position in Biopharma Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations is also required. Strong leadership skills, strong team orientation, Lean Six Sigma Certification (an advantage), ability to communicate at higher levels, structured working attitude, agile mindset, and business fluent German and English language skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Working as Plant Engineering Lead in Capital investment projects for building and commissioning of new manufacturing units.
* Providing leadership to the team with full responsibility for all aspects of human resource management such as qualification, development, coaching, hiring, pay decisions, and discipline issues.
* Responsible for developing and implementing the Maintenance and LAMP strategy, standards, and concepts in the Specialized Modalities facilities in alignment with the whole site.
* Focusing on cost-efficient preventive maintenance. Responsible for implementation of change-over strategy.
* Securing professional and economic execution of maintenance activities and high availability of the manufacturing units and equipment.
* Representing Engineering & Maintenance during regulatory inspections and customer audits.
* Responsible for control of own cost centers, identify and implement cost reduction measures.
