What is the key purpose of the position? As a French Teacher, the role is to deliver high-quality language instruction across the secondary school, inspiring students to achieve fluency, cultural awareness, and a lifelong love of languages while contributing to the school’s tradition of academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities

* Exhibit expertise and experience teaching IB French B and IGCSE French Language, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in teaching French A and Language and Literature French courses.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Proven experience teaching IB French B and IGCSE French Language, with additional experience in French A and Language and Literature French courses preferred.
* Ability to set clear expectations and ambitious goals, adapting teaching styles based on feedback to ensure optimal student outcomes.
* In-depth understanding of English language curricula and a track record of delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
* Strong assessment skills to evaluate student progress and provide actionable feedback to enhance performance.
* Excellent preparation and planning skills, with confidence in integrating ICT into teaching.
* Genuine care and attention to student welfare, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.
* A minimum of a university degree and certified teaching status, with appropriate right-to-work documentation.
* Previous experience teaching Senior and Middle School students (aged 10-18 years) and confidence in managing diverse classroom dynamics.
