As part of its strong growth and organizational development, we are currently recruiting a Senior Accountant to strengthen its leadership team.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the
Senior International Accountant
will play a key role in managing the accounting and reporting activities across several entities within the group. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial statements while supporting process improvements and cross-border coordination within an international environment.
Main Responsibilities
 * Oversee and execute
 general accounting operations
 for multiple entities in accordance with
 Swiss CO
 and
 Swiss GAAP RPC / IFRS
 standards.
 * Prepare and review
 monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
 * Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure consistency across group entities.
 * Support the preparation of
 consolidation packages
 and assist with
 group reporting
 requirements.
 * Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors during statutory audits and tax filings.
 * Maintain and improve
 internal control procedures
 and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
 * Participate in
 process automation and ERP optimization projects
 (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
 * Support the Finance Manager and CFO on
 ad-hoc analyses and financial projects
, including integration of new subsidiaries.
Candidate Profile
 * Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
 ; a
 Federal Diploma as Expert in Accounting and Controlling
 or equivalent certification is an asset.
 * Minimum
 5–8 years of experience
 in accounting within an
 international group
 or
 pharmaceutical / biotech company
 .
 * Strong knowledge of
 Swiss GAAP RPC and IFRS
 standards.
 * Experience with
 ERP systems
 (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) and
 advanced Excel skills
 .
 * Fluent in English
 ; proficiency in
 French
 is an advantage.
 * Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work autonomously while managing priorities effectively.
 * Team-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment.
