Business Developer Hydrogen Role

1. Main Responsibilities:

1. Develop hydrogen projects targeting industry and heavy mobility applications by analysing opportunities, building business plans, finding partners, securing fundings from public support schemes, structuring commercial aspects, managing contractual aspects, and contributing to internal investment requests.
">
2. Work closely with country organizations within Alpiq (Origination and renewable asset development).
">
3. Manage projects stakeholders' expectations through effective communication with local authorities, clients, partners, and suppliers.
">
4. Ccoordinate project tasks with the team in charge of hydrogen projects technical aspects.
">
5. Report on project progress internally.
">
6. Establish a network within the industry to identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
">
7. Analyse mergers and acquisitions opportunities.
">
8. Identify opportunities to enter new geographies.
">
9. Monitor regulatory developments and perform market intelligence to stay ahead in the industry.
">
10. Promote Alpiq's hydrogen activities and projects in public forums.
">

2. Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
* A Master's degree in Engineering or Finance from a leading school.
">
* A postgraduate formation in business administration or finance is desirable.
">
* Minimum 10 years of experience in the energy sector in a business development/strategy/consulting role.
">
* Solid finance and business development skills, keen eye for opportunities, good intuition, and ability to create and demonstrate value.
">
* Understanding of the energy sector and a network within the industry.
">
* Self-motivated, autonomous, ability to motivate others, and work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
">
* Good negotiation skills.
">
* Proficiency in Spanish and English at a full professional level.
">
* Will to travel frequently.
